Cook Compression China recently conducted a strategic sales conference at the Cook facility in Suzhou, China. Participants included members of the rapidly growing Cook China sales, engineering and operations team. The event featured guest speakers from global natural gas and industrial air compressor OEMs, as well as local experts in Windrock compressor and engine monitoring and analysis.

General Manager of Cook China Operations Willa Qu reviewed strategic and tactical plans for the region and a variety of other topics were presented to enhance technical knowledge and share best practices in meeting customer needs.

The event was part of Cook’s ongoing efforts to align locally based resources and expertise to better serve OEM and end-user customers in the Chinese natural gas, CNG, oil refining, petrochemical and manufacturing sectors. As the world’s number one consumer of energy, China’s industry faces increasing demands for compressor reliability and performance.

Since opening a new manufacturing and service facility in October 2012, Cook has remained customer-focused and expanded capabilities to provide in-country product and service solutions for this growing market.
