Cook Compression announced that Al Krawczak has assumed the new position of Vice President – Emerging Markets. In this role, Krawczak reports directly to Frank Wierengo, President of Cook Compression.

Krawczak is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and detailed action plans to profitably grow business in global markets that are new to Cook and offer attractive opportunities. Prior to being selected for this position, Krawczak was Vice President of Sales for Windrock, Inc., a leader in monitoring and diagnostic products and services.

“Al brings a wealth of knowledge about our industry to this new assignment,” said Wierengo, “including extensive compression product and service experience, as well as his successes with Windrock monitoring and diagnostics. With this blend of experience and capabilities, he is uniquely qualified to lead our efforts into emerging markets.”

“Al’s first priority will be in the Asia Pacific region, where he will grow our market presence in China and Southeast Asia and leverage our new operation in Suzhou, China. In this initial undertaking, Al will have direct responsibility for all personnel and activities in the region. Willa Qu, General Manager of Cook’s China Operation and Vig Nathan, Regional Manager for Asia Operations, will report directly to Al.”

“Cook team members worldwide will support Al as he takes on these new and challenging responsibilities.”
